Founded in 2013, our client is an asset-based freight brokerage, located in Vancouver, WA with national and international operations. They specialize in flatbed and oversize freight including super loads, state and federal jobs, and large specialty projects.

Flatbed Sales Executive
Our client is seeking an experienced sales representative to service their
current customers and develop new customer relationships along the west coast, primarily in Washington and Oregon. A great sales associate must be presentable, have excellent communication skills, the ability to professionally navigate stressful situations, be able to prioritize tasks efficiently, be self-motivated and have at least 1-year of experience in freight brokerage sales with strong current customer relationships. Candidates must be self-directed, knowledgeable, professional and a great team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while actively developing new business opportunities
  • Conduct in-person client meetings and attend industry events, with occasional travel
  • Generate leads, manage the full sales cycle, and close new business with a focus on flatbed and oversize freight services.
  • Utilize CRM systems (preferred: Zendesk) to track sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery and customer
  • satisfaction, maintaining a strong team-oriented approach.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of freight brokerage experience with the most recent year in sales
  • Proficiency in computers and technology
  • High closing success rate
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to prioritize tasks Current book of business
  • Proficiency with CRM systems
  • Knowledgeable with lead generation
  • Has knowledge in flatbed and oversize freight
This position offers a competitive base salary.
