Reconditioning Service Advisor

Join our team as a Vehicle Inventory & Reconditioning Specialist, where you'll play a key role in ensuring all new and used vehicles meet top-quality standards before hitting the sales lot. This position involves vehicle inspection, repair order processing, inventory coordination, and final quality checks to support a seamless sales experience.

Reconditioning Dept Service Advisor Competitive Pay: 4.0% of the monthly Individual Gross Repair Order. Expected annual pay is $40,000-$50,000.

• Inspect and Process Vehicles: Receive, inspect, and document new and used vehicles for defects. Initiate repair orders to maintain front lot quality.
• Repair Order Management: Open, book, and close repair orders efficiently to track service and reconditioning progress.
• Inventory Coordination: Direct lot porters to retrieve and deliver vehicle inventory between dealerships, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Workflow Tracking: Oversee the reconditioning process through zone management to optimize efficiency.
• Vehicle Transportation: Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, ensuring proper handling of all deliveries.
• Software Utilization: Use inventory tracking and reconditioning software to manage vehicle movement and service status.
• Final Quality Checks: Conduct thorough inspections to verify that all vehicles meet high-quality standards before reaching the sales lot.

  Work closely with service teams and outside vendors to meet cycle time goals, ensuring vehicles are retail ready as quickly as possible.
• Lot Walks & Approvals: Conduct regular lot walks to identify, communicate, and gain approval for necessary repairs.
• Departmental Coordination: Maintain seamless communication across departments to ensure all deliverables are met on or ahead of schedule.
• Inventory Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Customer Service & Representation: Serve as a professional representative of the company, delivering top-tier customer service both internally and externally.
