RN - Emergency Department (Peace Health)
Join us as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. In this new dynamic setting, you will provide full-spectrum nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center with advanced cardiac and stroke services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs with a patient‑centered approach.
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record.
- Direct and delegate care to other team members, ensuring a collaborative and efficient workflow.
- Manage complex patient care situations, including the administration of tPA, seizure management, and blood pressure abnormalities with parenteral vasoactive agents.
- Maintain professional effectiveness through ongoing education and development.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies, quality improvement, and safety programs.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. - Licensure:
Current Washington RN license or current Multistate RN license required by date of hire. - Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in Emergency Nursing; preference for trauma experience. - Certifications:
BLS and ACLS required at hire; NIHSS required within 6 months; PALS and TNCC required within 1 year of hire.
