Interim Nurse Supervisor, Home Health

Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is seeking an Interim Nurse Supervisor, Home Health for a W2 Contract position based in Fontana, CA.

Schedule: Full time, 5 8's Days, with alternating on-call after hours and weekend coverage.

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks with high likelihood of extending.

Compensation: Position qualifies OT, DT and On-Call.

Hourly Rate: This position offers an hourly rate between $51.87 to $54.37 which equates to $2,074.80 to $2,174.80 per week (based on a 40-hour workweek - not including any OT, DT or On-Call hours).

Per Diems: Lodging: $124 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day. Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,470 per week.

Total Weekly Compensation (Hourly Rate based on a 40-hour work week + Per Diems):
Between $3,544.00 to $3,644.80 per week.

Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home health unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient resource management. This includes supervising staff, implementing best practices, and coordinating patient care delivery.

• Oversee the work of nurses and other healthcare professionals within the home health unit, including scheduling, performance management, and providing guidance and support.
• Ensuring that patient care is delivered according to established standards, protocols, and best practices, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the efficient allocation and utilization of resources, such as staffing, supplies, and equipment, within the home health unit.
• Facilitate the coordination of patient care activities, including admissions, discharges, and transfers, to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, departments, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and patient-centered care.
• Assist in the implementation and adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations within the home health unit.
• Participate in the orientation and ongoing training of new staff members and ensure staff competency.

• Active California Registered Nurse License.
• 3 years of clinical experience in home health or related area, with at least 1 year of experience functioning in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and manage staff, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.
