Job Details

As a CNC Programmer, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing operations, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our high-quality products. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, performing complex machining operations, and reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. This is a permanent, full-time position, ideal for a professional with a strong technical background and a passion for precision, quality, and innovation.

This role will be for first shift Monday-Thursday 4x10 or Monday-Friday 5x8.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts on CNC milling and lathe machines using CAD/CAM software.
  • Set up CNC machines, including setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.
  • Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
  • Understand specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
  • Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
  • Test and adjust machine speeds or actions, according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Monitor machine operation and control panel display and adjust machine to correct errors.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as they arise.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
  • Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven experience with mill operation, lathe operation, and machine programming.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Solid knowledge of CAD software and programming.
  • Strong technical skills, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
  • Experience in CNC machine operation, CNC mill, and CNC set-up.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • 2 year programming degree preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or training is a plus.
