Manufacturing maintenance Technician

This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and packaging equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime. The Maintenance Technician II handles advanced repairs, executes preventive maintenance, and supports overall equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated production equipment
• Perform advanced diagnostics and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and identify opportunities to improve reliability
• Respond to equipment failures and urgent maintenance needs during production
• Monitor equipment performance and address issues before they impact operations
• Document maintenance activities and work orders using a CMMS
• Maintain tools, parts, and spare inventory
• Support and guide entry-level maintenance technicians
• Follow all safety standards and maintenance procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Technical certification or trade training (electrical, mechanical, HVAC)
• Experience with industrial refrigeration or temperature-controlled systems
• Exposure to automation controls or PLC-driven equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with automated or semi-automated equipment
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS platforms
• Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Welding or metal fabrication experience
• Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift operation
