Maintenance Specialist

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Specialist role in Vancouver. • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and facility systems to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to support production goals.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair history.
• Collaborate with production staff to quickly address equipment issues and optimize performance.
• Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending and implementing maintenance process improvements.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and assist in minimizing production disruptions.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

• Competitive hourly wage. $18-$20 hourly
