Hourly Rate

$35.28 per hour.

Position Summary

We are seeking highly dedicated assembly mechanics. Ideal candidates have experience as mechanics or millwrights in marine repair, maintenance, or new construction, as well as manufacturing, automation, or automotive industries requiring advanced mechanical aptitude for integrated systems assembly.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities

Duties include installation of integrated system components such as engines, drives, HVAC systems, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, and fire suppression.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must have own set of tools.
  • Experience with hydraulics and piping a plus.
  • Familiarity with machining a plus.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow procedures for equipment installations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
Education and/or Experience
  • Minimum of 2‑3 years’ experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift, carry or maneuver 60 lbs.; difficult objects will be lifted with mechanical means or additional manpower.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, kneel, twist, pull, push, grip, and climb.
  • Capable of working from ladders and scaffolding.
Citizenship

U.S. citizenship required pursuant to this government contract.
