Fulfill the daily production demands of a Vancouver manufacturing facility as indicated by either the production schedule and/or leadership.
Essential Functions- Comply to all Vancouver and corporate safety rules, regulations, and policies.
- Prep for packaging activities, operate packaging equipment in compliance with SOPS, GMPs, ISO/FSSC/HACCP and safety guidelines and requirements.
- Clean up and maintenance of plant, plant grounds and equipment.
- Document all required data for process operation, testing, cleaning and sanitation activities, (manually and electronically).
- Restock supplies, operate forklift and pallet jack, load/unload delivery trucks, recycle product and prepare product.
- Understand and comply with all production quality system SOPs and documents, safety policies and SDS.
- Work with operation team to increase knowledge of process and equipment operation and to assume more Operator II responsibilities and duties as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and a minimum 1 year in manufacturing environment.
- Must have or be able to obtain forklift operators permit.
- Must have strong work ethic; be detail oriented; be able to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Demonstrable mechanical ability and mathematical skills.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret charts, graphs, documents, manuals, etc.
- Exposure to powder and heavy equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Position may require walking and standing long periods; reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to handle materials.
- Position requires frequent moving of approximately 50 pounds.
- Working in a non-HVAC building, exposure to seasonal & operational impacted temperatures.
