Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Facility Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in the upkeep and functionality of our gyms. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and improvements across multiple locations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of gym facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and fitness equipment.
• Oversee pool maintenance and chemical balancing of the aquatic facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Collaborate with the management team to prioritize and address maintenance issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report to the Vice President of Operations regularly.
• Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance programs.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Facility Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on fitness equipment.
• Experience in overseeing pool maintenance and chemical balancing in aquatics facilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple gym locations in Washington and Oregon State.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
