AI Engineer

Must be able to work on site in Washington, DC (4 days/week)

We are seeking a Generative AI Developer with strong experience in enterprise AI solutions, Azure cloud technologies, and API development. This role focuses on designing and implementing GenAI solutions, working with large language models (LLMs), and building scalable applications within an Azure-based environment.

• Design, develop, and implement Generative AI solutions for enterprise use cases.

• Build and optimize AI systems using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.

• Evaluate and select appropriate LLMs to solve business and enterprise challenges.

• Develop and deploy APIs and applications within an Azure cloud environment.

• Integrate data with LLM models and optimize model performance and outputs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven solutions.

• Ensure scalable, secure, and efficient deployment of AI solutions on Azure.

• 2+ years of experience working on Generative AI projects, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or RAG implementations.

• 2-3 years of hands‑on development experience in Python, Java, or .NET.

• Strong .NET experience required

• Experience with

  • Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Azure AI Foundry
  • Azure Web Apps and Azure Web APIs

• Strong understanding of how data interacts with LLM models.

• Fundamental knowledge of AI concepts, types of AI models, and GenAI tools.

• Experience deploying solutions in an Azure-based technology stack.

• Azure certification highly preferred:

  • Azure Developer Associate OR
  • Azure Solutions Architect

• Experience with
  Power Platform development
  , including:

  • Microsoft Teams integration
  • Power Apps
  • Copilot Studio
