About the role

Job Title:

Systems Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Lead / Manager to oversee operations, infrastructure management, and transformation programs. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on technical expertise in systems engineering, ensuring operational excellence, reliability, and scalability across enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic NOC transformation initiatives:
    Define scope, objectives, success metrics, and deliverables.
  • Plan and manage projects end‑to‑end:
    Develop timelines, allocate resources, and track progress against milestones.
  • Establish governance and communication frameworks:
    Drive stakeholder engagement, reporting, and executive updates.
  • Champion automation and AI‑driven initiatives for operational efficiency.
Systems & Infrastructure Management
  • Lead and mentor a team of 8+ engineers managing system and server operations.
  • Oversee ticketing workflows and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory (AD).
  • Administer and troubleshoot Hyper‑V and VMware virtualization platforms.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure systems.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement best practices for system security and scalability.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to GDPR/DSR and ITIL best practices.
  • Manage budgets, risks, and compliance across programs.
  • Deliver dashboards and KPI summaries to leadership for visibility and decision‑making.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of engineering or IT leadership experience, preferably in NOC, distributed systems, or cloud service infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience managing large‑scale transformation programs and infrastructure operations.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and governance frameworks.
  • Expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (Hyper‑V, VMware).
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (Power Shell, Python).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and ITSM tools (Datadog, Splunk, Zabbix, Grafana, Jira).
  • Understanding of network infrastructure and cloud environments (Azure).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, risks, and compliance.
Salary Range

The salary for this position is between $100,000 to $112,000 USD annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
