Senior GIS Analyst/Developer | Vancouver, WA | Full-time
Salary: $94,257 – $135,325 per year (market based)
About This JobThis full‑time position reports to the Business Applications Manager and is located at the Operations Center, 8600 NE 117th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98662.
What You Would Do- Develop, maintain, and enhance the Geographic Information application to support critical infrastructure management, asset tracking, and service delivery optimization.
- Create, manage, and optimize ESRI’s geospatial databases and utility networks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Design and produce detailed maps, reports, and visualizations using ESRI’s ArcGIS API for JavaScript and .NET.
- Write and maintain scripts using standardized tools to automate GIS workflows and data processing tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored GIS solutions.
- Administer, license, customize, and perform regular maintenance on the full suite of ArcGIS products including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Ensure compatibility and integration of GIS solutions with enterprise systems and external platforms or data sources.
- Analyze spatial and non‑spatial data to support decision‑making and problem‑solving.
• Associate’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Environmental Science, or related field with industry experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET, Python, or JavaScript, and platforms like ESRI’s ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and database systems.
• Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of spatial data concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, work collaboratively in teams, and support shared goals.
• Excellent organizational skills, including self‑direction and effective time management.

SalaryClark Public Utilities’ salary ranges are market based. With demonstrated full competency in the role and satisfactory performance, employees are generally positioned to reach the midpoint of the established range over time.
