Overview
We’re looking for a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist comfortable working independently in a busy hospital environment, supporting both scheduled and emergency imaging for Veterans
OR & Vancouver, WA
Responsibilities- Performing abdominal, pelvic, scrotal, vascular, and small-parts ultrasounds
- Supporting biopsy-guided procedures (renal, liver, transplant cases)
- Coordinating directly with radiologists
- Handling on-call and emergency scans
- Maintaining QA standards and PACS documentation
- Variable shifts
- On-call and emergency coverage required
- Independent work with strong clinical judgment
- Long-term assignment focus
- ARDMS registered (Abdomen/Small Parts)
- At least two additional ARDMS certifications (RVT, OB/GYN, Vascular, etc.)
- BCLS
- 3+ years U.S. hospital ultrasound experience
- Hospital ultrasound work within the last 6 months
- Comfortable with physical demands and emergency cases
- Ability to pass VA background & drug testing
- Minimum 6-month commitment
