Therapist, Partial Hospitalization Program PHP

Base Pay Range: $78,000.00/yr - $84,800.00/yr.

Schedule: Full-Time | Exempt | Rotating Weekends.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance‑abuse problems.
  • Display active involvement in the treatment planning process.
  • Provide family session counseling to all patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups.
  • Actively communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
  • Demonstrate proactive communication with all parties involved in the patient’s treatment.
  • Work well with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff members.
  • Effectively communicate to UR on treatment and LOS issues.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork for clients in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
  • Demonstrate appropriate crisis intervention and de‑escalation skills.
  • Act as a team member during crisis situations, assisting others to ensure patient safety.
  • Complete accurate assessments of patients utilizing clinical skills.
  • Assist the care coordination department as requested.
  • Complete all documentation thoroughly, timely, and in accordance with hospital standards.
  • Display a thorough knowledge of confidentiality.
  • Complete releases appropriately.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of HIPAA regulations and abide by those standards.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all clinical regulations, including TJC, Medicaid, and state and federal laws.
  • Display active involvement in the discharge, transition, and after‑care planning treatment processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
  • Education:

    Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent.
  • License:
    Current clinical or social work license as required by state regulations.
  • Certifications:

    CPR and de‑escalation certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
  • Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
