Recovery Café of Clark County (RCCC)

About this RoleThe person for this position will be responsible for providing one-on-one recovery support services to individuals including outreach and long-term engagement. This role will also support the SW WA Pop-up Café located in Goldendale, WA with various daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, flexible, team oriented, and ideally someone with previous knowledge and/or experience with recovery support programs.
ResponsibilitiesProvide welcoming and supportive environment to café members and individuals engaging in recovery support.
Collaborate with team and notify supervisor of any challenges that arise.
Maintain awareness and always promote a safe working environment.
Assist with the various café daily activities and always work to promote the Café model as well as the message and services of RCCC.
Engage and support individuals in recovery with developing and implementing an agreed upon, individualized intervention plan including identifying barriers to achieving/maintaining their recovery and encourage them with making progress on their weekly goals.
Provide immediate field-based response to individuals which could include travel to those living in rural areas and provide support and coaching as requested (an additional staff will accompany when necessary for safety reasons).
Be available to connect individuals to resources and advocate for members and participants as needed.
Develop and maintain files and daily documentation as needed for both weekly and monthly reports.
Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with individuals experiencing barriers to sustained recovery or who are/have been intertwined within the criminal legal system.
Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement will be provided).
Proof of Auto Insurance.
Must be able to pass a Washington State Patrol criminal background check.
Ability to maintain an effective working relationship including communication and collaboration with staff, participants, outside contacts and in some cases the general public.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in the workplace.
Ability to track and report program outcomes, navigate community services effectively and perform basic math operations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
Computer skills and current technology experience.
