Phlebotomist II Float – Vancouver, WA
Job Location:
Vancouver, WA.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with rotational weekends.
This float role offers diverse and dynamic work where no two days look the same. You will shift frequently to new patient centers and meet new people while receiving a robust total‑rewards package, training, and career advancement opportunities.
Pay range: $23.00–$25.10 /hour. Salary determined by relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation.

- Cover a territory within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or other sites as needed.
- Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
- Collect specimens per established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
- Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
- Coach, mentor, and instruct new employees and be a resource advisor for staff on site; provide regular input to group leads or supervisors.
- Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed.
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience
- Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
Required ability to effectively communicate in English. A state phlebotomy license is required (Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV). Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required.
