Job Location:

Vancouver, WA.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with rotational weekends.

Pay range: $23.00–$25.10 /hour. Salary determined by relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation.

• Cover a territory within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or other sites as needed.
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Collect specimens per established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
• Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
• Coach, mentor, and instruct new employees and be a resource advisor for staff on site; provide regular input to group leads or supervisors.
• Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Required ability to effectively communicate in English. A state phlebotomy license is required (Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV). Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required.
