Requirements CNA / Caregiver Role

As a Caregiver
, you’ll be a key part of our residents’ daily lives—supporting them with care, kindness, and respect. You’ll follow personalized care plans while working closely with our Team Leads to ensure every resident feels safe, supported, and valued.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Compassionate Care Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding—always with empathy and respect.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring Check and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen levels) and communicate any concerns to the nursing team.
  • Mobility Support Help residents move safely and comfortably to promote independence and well-being.
  • Accurate Documentation Document care provided and note any changes in residents’ conditions.
  • Meaningful Companionship Be a friendly face and a listening ear—engaging residents in conversation and emotional support.
    Safety First Maintain a secure living environment and respond calmly and promptly to emergencies.
  • Clear Communication Work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to keep everyone informed and supported.
  • Clean & Comfortable Spaces Help maintain a tidy, organized, and hygienic environment.
  • Teamwork Makes the Dream Work Collaborate with fellow caregivers and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding care.
What We’re Looking For
  • CNA or HCA certification
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (W-2 position; no 1099s)
  • Able to lift 50lbs or more
  • Comfortable speaking and understanding English
  • Availability for evenings and weekends
  • Preferred: 1 year of caregiving experience
  • Background checks and pre-employment drug screening are required prior to employment.
Benefits & Pay
  • $19.00–$24.00 per hour

Work Schedule
  • 8-hour shifts (approximately 40 hours/week)
  • Evening shifts: 2 PM – 10 PM
  • Weekend shifts
  • On-call availability as needed
Physical Demands

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and/or bend for periods of up to twelve hours per shift. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to regularly talk, hear, and see. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment described here is an example of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

  • Floor surfaces vary from hard surfaces to carpets.
  • Fast pace that are typical for a senior living home or community.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Other Occupational Exposures

Exposure to blood/body fluids possible. Bloodborne pathogens require the physical abilities necessary to clean spills that may occur in this type of environment.

Minimum Required

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Must be able to speak English proficiently.
  • Obtain Home Care Aide Certification or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification within 200 days of the date of hire.
  • Obtain other required certifications within the allotted timeframe as specified by the State of Washington and Belamour Care.
Additional Requirements
  • Tuberculosis certificate as required by State.
  • Valid First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification.
  • Food Handlers Certification.
  • Criminal Background check cleared.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Drug test upon hire.
Location Requirement
