Assistant Controller

Jacko Logistics is growing, and we’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Assistant Controller to help strengthen our accounting foundation and support our next stage of expansion.

This is not a passive accounting role. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, leads the month-end close process with confidence, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead and manage monthly close process
• Prepare and review journal entries
• Ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition
• Deliver timely and reliable financial statements

• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues quickly
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation

• 3–6+ years of accounting experience
• Strong month-end close experience (required)
• Advanced reconciliation experience
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Google Sheets
• Experience in transportation/logistics a plus
