Lead GPR Technician

• Annual salary of $90,000 to $120,000 based on experience

• Position based out of Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon with project work across the surrounding metro area and I-5 corridor
• Lead all Ground Penetrating Radar scanning and non destructive testing operations from field work through final reporting
• Perform subsurface utility location and structural analysis on concrete and related structures
• Analyze and interpret data using software such as GPR Slice, Insights, and similar post processing tools
• Grow scanning and NDT services by building client relationships and identifying new project opportunities
• Manage client conversations related to scanning services and serve as the primary technical expert
• Mentor and guide future technicians within the scanning and NDT division
• Partner with field crews to maintain high standards for quality and job site safety

• At least 5 years of hands on experience with Ground Penetrating Radar in a construction or structural environment
• Demonstrated leadership ability in the field with strong technical credibility
• Skilled in subsurface mapping, data interpretation, and non destructive testing methods
• Experience with GPR Slice, Insights, or comparable data processing software
• Working knowledge of ultrasound, corrosion and half cell measurement, permeability testing, and related NDT techniques preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with field teams and customers
• Comfortable performing active field work, not limited to office management
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Degree in geophysics, engineering, or a related field preferred but not required
