The Portfolio Manager for Surface CAS (Collision Avoidance Systems) is responsible for driving the product strategy, development, and lifecycle management of advanced collision avoidance solutions for surface mining operations. This role will focus on delivering innovative, customer-centric safety solutions that align with EMESRT (Earth Moving Equipment Safety Round Table) Level 7-9 standards, ensuring enhanced safety and productivity in mining environments. Reporting to the Head of Product – Safety Solutions, this position will play a critical role in supporting Hexagon’s vision for safer, autonomous mining operations by delivering market-leading products that meet the evolving needs of customers in open-pit mining.

• Product Strategy and Vision
  :
  Contribute to the development and execution of the product strategy for surface CAS systems, ensuring alignment with the broader safety solutions portfolio and Hexagon’s business objectives.
• Product Development
  :
  Collaborate with engineering, design, and product specialists to define and deliver CAS solutions meeting EMESRT Level 7-9 requirements, focusing on usability, reliability, and integration with autonomous mining systems.
• Market Analysis
  :
  Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, customer needs, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
• Product Roadmap Contribution
  :
  Support the development and maintenance of an outcome-driven product roadmap, ensuring clear prioritization of features and enhancements that deliver customer value, viability, and feasibility.
• Product Introduction
  :
  Manage the end-to-end process of product introduction, ensuring a customer-centric approach tailored to the needs of sales and support teams across four regions (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, USA/Canada).
• Go-to-Market Execution
  :
  Develop and execute impactful go-to-market strategies for new and existing CAS products, working closely with product marketing and sales teams to drive adoption and market growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  :
  Build strong relationships with engineering, sales, support, and other key functions to ensure seamless execution of product goals and alignment with customer expectations.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  :
  Engage with customers, industry partners, and internal teams to gather feedback, validate product requirements, and ensure alignment with safety and operational needs in surface mining.
• Performance Monitoring
  :
  Track product performance using key metrics and analytics, providing insights to optimize product offerings and drive continuous improvement.
• Compliance and Safety Standards
  :
  Ensure CAS products meet EMESRT Level 7-9 standards and other relevant industrial safety regulations, maintaining a strong focus on fostering a safety-first culture in mining operations.
