Overview
Join AZAD as a Senior Product Compliance Engineer to be a critical partner to the Global Product Compliance team. Your mission: ensure that product designs align with evolving environmental and regulatory standards (RoHS, REACH, EPA TSCA, PFAS, etc.). You'll collaborate cross‑functionally with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to manage certifications, testing, and documentation.
Job DetailsFull‑time consultant position based in Irvine, CA. Hourly pay rate $70.00.
Essential Functions- Certify products and assess environmental compliance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot regulatory approvals.
- Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) for component‑level compliance.
- Draft and manage compliance documentation for global regulations.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams for testing and certification needs.
- Evaluate test data and recommend specification limits.
- Minimal travel (up to 5%).
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or Environmental Science (or equivalent).
- 3+ years of related regulatory/environmental compliance experience.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation.
- Experience with Agile, Oracle, or SAP systems.
Physical Requirements
40% of work may be stationary (desk‑based). Office‑based role involving computers and standard office equipment.
