6 Hours Per Day (9:35 a.m. – 4:05 p.m., 30‑minute unpaid lunch) - Early‑Release Days: 3.83 Hours (9:35 a.m. – 1:55 p.m., 30‑minute unpaid time)
- 181 School Days (180 student days + 10 holidays)

Eligibility & QualificationsMust meet the following Para educator Employment Requirements:
- Age 18+ with a high‑school diploma or equivalent.
- One of the following:
- ETS Para Pro Assessment score 455 or higher.
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100‑level or higher.
- Completion of a Washington State Apprenticeship & Training Council‑registered Para educator Apprenticeship Program.
- Upon hire, new para educators must complete state‑required training offered through Evergreen School District.
- Under the teacher’s direction, provide special‑education services and supports to eligible elementary and/or secondary students.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Deliver one‑to‑one and group instruction as directed to meet I म्हणून etc. (IEP) goals.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a learning environment aligned with course objectives.
- Assess student progress, evaluate learning, and record data to monitor IEP goal attainment.
- Maintain accurate student progress records.
- Assist in administering and scoring formal and informal assessments.
- Implement behavior‑management strategies as instructed.
- Organize and prepare instructional materials.
- Attend to student toileting needs, feeding, and lifting as required.
- Assist with assistive technology and related services (OT, PT, SLP, etc.).
- Participate in training sessions to keep up‑to‑date with student needs.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
