Part Time Child Care Program Manager – Evergreen School District (Vancouver)

Right At School is seeking a Part Time Child Care Program Manager to oversee our after‑school enrichment program at the Evergreen School District. The role is full‑time each weekday with hours from 2:40 pm to 6:00 pm. Pay ranges from $22.50–$24.50 per hour based on education and experience.

• Deliver quality enrichment programs for children using our internally crafted Disguised Learning curriculum.
• Develop and coach a team passionate about providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
• Work closely with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience.
• Represent Right At School at local community events (Back to School, Right Club, Field Day, etc.).
• Maintain safety standards, including supervision and program paperwork.

• Prior experience supervising others and working with children under 13.
• Knowledge of children’s developmental needs, including special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field.
• Strong communication skills—oral, written, and visual—with adults and children.
• Professionalism when interacting with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or willingness to learn.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong classroom management skills; use and model positive discipline.
• Teamwork orientation.
• Passion for inspiring a love of learning and engaging children in fun activities.
• Respect for and dedication to working with children.
• At least 2 years of direct experience working with children under 13 and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Age 18+ and proof of high‑school diploma or equivalent (12 college credits).
• Ability to meet state‑specific requirements: FA/CPR, mandated reporter, TB clearance, MMR proof, food handler’s card.

Pay: $22.50–$24.50 per hour (based on education and experience).

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, 2:40 pm – 6:00 pm.
