Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and clinically confident Pediatric Dentist to join our growing team on a full-time, five-day-per-week schedule. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for pediatric dentistry, excellent communication skills, and a desire to build long-term relationships with patients and families. A minimum of two years of pediatric dental experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care, including preventive, restorative, and behavior-guided dentistry
  
  • Diagnose oral conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  
  • Treat infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs
  
  • Communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly and compassionately to parents and guardians
  
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation
  
  • Collaborate with doctors, hygienists, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences
  
  • Adhere to all state regulations, OSHA standards, and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications:

Licensure & Legal Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Washington State dental license in good standing

• Eligibility to practice pediatric dentistry in the State of Washington

• Compliance with all Washington State Department of Health rules and regulations

• Current BLS certification; PALS certification required

• Appropriate sedation permits if administering minimal, moderate, or deep sedation

Education & Training:

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school

• Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program

Professional Experience &

Skills:



• Minimum of two years of clinical pediatric dentistry experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and pediatric behavior management skills

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities

• Commitment to ethical practice and continued professional development

• Board Certified or Board-Eligible with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
• Experience with sedation dentistry and pediatric behavior management techniques
• Familiarity with Medicaid and PPO insurance plans
