The RoleWe are seeking a CAS Associate to join our Client Accounting Services (CAS) team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with multiple clients, building strong accounting foundations, and growing within a collaborative, people-first firm. CAS Associates support day-to-day accounting operations while learning best practices, firm processes, and client service excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping and account reconciliations
- Assist with client payroll processing
- Prepare and file federal and state payroll tax reports
- Prepare state excise tax filings
- Support month-end close and basic financial reporting
- Communicate with clients to gather documentation and clarify transactions
- Collaborate with CAS team members to meet deadlines and deliver quality work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Familiarity with Washington State tax regulations
- Experience using accounting software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Quick Books Online
- Experience supporting multiple clients
- Strong organizational and communication skills

The annual base compensation range for this role is $26.00-$36.00 per hour. This range includes the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including experience, education and/or skill level.
