Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-driven and analytically curious Staff Accountant who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced close environment.

This position is fully remote, with occasional in-person meetings in Vancouver, Washington as business needs require.

• Support the month-end and period-end close through journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, including cash, payroll, AP, and inventory.
• Review financial statement line items and investigate variances to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting packages and variance analysis.
• Maintain general ledger integrity while supporting audits, internal controls, and documentation needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, ideally including public accounting or Big 4 exposure.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and accrual accounting.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial statement structure.
• Comfortable using Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience such as SAP is a plus).

Compensation: $36-$40.86/hr. (DOE)
