Position: Dispatcher
Location: 9411 NE 99th St Vancouver, WA 98662
Department: Operations
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, or until the last driver returns.
Wage: $24 - $29 per hour, DOE. Overtime as needed.
Reports To: Operations Manager

Duties & Responsibilities
Work with Operations and Customer Service to resolve service concernsAnalyze and resolve issues such as missed pickups, misplaced containers, or property mattersProvide drivers with support and clarification for pickups and deliveriesSchedule and dispatch work to drivers throughout the dayUtilize Waste Connections proprietary software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Maintain positive customer interactions and promote goodwillPerform in a high‑volume, fast‑paced call environmentUpsell additional services when applicableMinimum Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED required2+ years dispatch experience in transportation/logistics preferredStrong typing and computer skillsProficiency in MS Office SuiteStrong verbal and written communicationExcellent organization, multitasking, and problem‑solving skillsVeterans encouraged to applyTo be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at .
