Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Front-end Software Engineer for one of our portfolio companies. As a key member of our front-end development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces.
Responsibilities- Collaborating closely with other developers and product owners to translate and implement innovative product functionality
- Proactively engaging in collaborative planning sessions with cross-functional teams
- Actively seeking opportunities to expand your skill set, staying informed about emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in front-end development.
- Contributing to a continuous learning environment within the team by encouraging knowledge‑sharing sessions, workshops, and collaborative problem‑solving
- Supporting junior staff in their professional growth by offering mentorship, sharing insights, and contributing to an atmosphere that encourages curiosity and skill enhancement
- Five (5) years of experience of relevant work experience in a software development or contractor environment
- Two (2) years of experience working with Svelte framework projects
- Proficiency in using Tailwind CSS for building responsive and accessible user interfaces
- Experience in developing reusable UI components and design systems
- Excellent understanding of web page performance, debugging, and best practices
- Experience with reactive state management concepts
- Experience with module bundler systems and related web tooling concepts
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Experience leading small to midsize multi-product teams with demonstrated ability to mentor team members as well as provide technical guidance and oversight on implementation direction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in start-up environments
- Experience with Web Assembly in medium to large-scale codebases
- Git Hub profile with sample projects to showcase
- Base compensation of $125,000 - $140,000 per year
