About the JobWe are seeking a dynamic Software QA Engineer to join our team in developing next‑generation smart grid communication devices. The role covers the full product lifecycle—from system architecture and design through to development, testing, and optimization.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with an agile, cross‑functional team to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
- Design and implement comprehensive test scenarios, plans, and methodologies to detect defects and ensure high test coverage.
- Own the QA process from requirements gathering to test execution and bug triage.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of automated testing systems.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date test repository aligned with evolving feature development.
- Support and expand test automation efforts to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software QA or embedded systems testing, preferably in networking or communications environments.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Java C/C++.
- Solid understanding of embedded Linux systems, including kernel, drivers, and firmware testing.
- Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD, such as PyTest, Playwright, Schema thesis, Allure, and Jenkins or Robot Framework.
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet) and tools like Wireshark.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience with Jira (issues, boards, sprints) and test planning (Xray/Jira Test Plans).
- Experience with testing Micro Services.
- Experience with Things Board (device/telemetry platform).
- Experience testing Kafka‑based systems.
- Experience validating UI against design specs and accessibility standards.
