Social Worker, Housing & Aftercare (Permanent, Full-Time) – Union Gospel Mission (Vancouver)
Join the Union Gospel Mission (UGM) to make a positive difference in the housing affordability crisis’s devastating effects on the most vulnerable in the Lower Mainland. The role is for a mature Christian leader with a Bachelor of Social Work who will provide trauma‑informed, women‑centered practical and pastoral care to mothers in a faith‑based transitional housing community. You will support and provide case management to women and their children living in the Sanctuary Transitional Housing Program and alumni, including goal setting, community systems navigation, and adherence to program guidelines and policies.
You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations; other staff members will be available for assistance as required.
This is a permanent
, full‑time position (37.5 hours per week). The starting salary range is $35.20–$38.46 per hour
