Summary

We are currently hiring for a certified or non-certified carpenter who considers safety a number one priority. Reporting to the Senior Superintendent, you will perform general carpentry duties on our sites.

This role is employed through CLAC, and membership will be required once hired.

Key Responsibilities
  • At least three years of previous experience working on commercial, residential, or institutional builds with a general contractor.
  • Must be comfortable performing multiple different roles, including laborer duties, and tasks related to construction.
  • Willing and able to perform physically demanding work including the ability to lift to 50lbs.
  • Able to use hand power tools.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with the ability to travel to various project sites on an as needed basis.
  • Adherence and participation in the Scott Construction Health & Safety Program.
  • Valid BC Site Ready, and Fall Protection ticket.
  • High School diploma.
  • Red Seal certification is not required.
