Inboard Technician

Overview

Maple Leaf Marinas ("MLM") is the largest owner and operator of marinas, marine resorts, and boat dealerships in Canada. MLM’s fast growing portfolio comprises 21 locations throughout the Lake Simcoe, Georgian Bay and Muskoka Regions.

We are seeking an Inboard Technician to join our team at Gordon Bay Marine. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and potential for benefits package.

• Inspect and test inboard engines to diagnose and isolate faults, adjust, repair, or replace mechanical or electrical system parts.
• Preform scheduled service and maintenance, advise Service Writer of diagnosis, needed repairs, additional work needed, and cost estimate.
• Maintain effective working relationships with other dealership members, exhibit timeliness, positive attitude, punctuality, and meet deadlines.
• Conduct quality checks on work preformed, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Flexibility in scheduling, relevant Trade Certificate or Diploma required.

• Strong knowledge of Inboard marine engines
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair procedures
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and team work abilities
