Overview
Join a major industrial project at Newmont’s Red Chris Mine. This is a rotational camp opportunity offering strong pay, stability, and growth.
Location:
Red Chris Mine, Northern BC (fly-in/fly-out).
Rotation: 14 days on / 14 days off.
Shifts:
12 hours (days or nights).
- Base Pay: $47.77/hr.
- Overtime:
After 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week. - Allowance: $500 per completed rotation + $50 meal allowance on travel-in days.
- Travel:
Transportation to marshalling hubs (Calgary, Kelowna, Kamloops, Vancouver, Smithers, Nanaimo, Prince George). Charter flights & site transportation provided. - Accommodation & Meals:
Camp accommodations and meals included.
- Structural steel erection, assembly, and installation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Operate cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment safely.
- Follow all site safety requirements and orientations.
- Journeyperson Ironworker certification (Red Seal or provincial equivalent).
- Valid Fall Protection, Rigging, AWP/MEWP/EWP (training can be arranged if needed).
- Ability to pass drug & alcohol clearance.
- Completion of WB Melback contractor orientation and Newmont site orientation (provided).
- Own PPE: hi-vis, winter gear, steel-toe boots, hard hat, eye protection.
