HVAC Technician

Location: Metro Vancouver

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00–7:30 AM start, 8-hour shifts (overtime as needed)

We’re looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and take on exciting commercial projects across Metro Vancouver. In this role, you’ll work with advanced systems, interpret technical drawings, and ensure top-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. • Review blueprints and building codes to plan work details and procedures.
• Assemble and install refrigeration and air conditioning systems and components.
• Assist in designing multi-head VRF systems.
• Prepare detailed material lists from drawings and site layouts.
• Start and commission systems, test lines for leaks, and record readings.
• Direct apprentices on piping system installations.
• Maintain accurate records and produce detailed work reports.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions by replacing or fixing controls, wiring, or other parts.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial, institutional, or high-rise settings.
• Journeyperson Red Seal Ticket (required).
• Strong HVAC service experience.
• Ability to travel to job sites.
• Clean driving record and excellent communication skills.

• Gasfitter B ticket.
• Additional years of experience.
• Leadership abilities and eagerness to learn.

You’ll work in existing commercial buildings and infrastructure, often around business tenants—so professionalism and a presentable demeanor are key. This role is commercial only (no residential work). Some tenant improvement projects may require work outside regular hours. This is a Permanent position based out of Vancouver, BC.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $151257.00/yr.
