Guardteck Security is seeking experienced and dependable Security Shift Supervisors for a full-time position in Vancouver, BC
. This role is responsible for overseeing shift operations, ensuring compliance with site procedures, and maintaining consistent security and customer service standards.
The Security Shift Supervisor provides on-shift leadership, supports operational requirements, and ensures all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, client expectations, and regulatory standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct security officers during assigned shifts to ensure compliance with post orders, site procedures, and company policiesAct as the primary on-site operational contact during the shiftConduct shift briefings and ensure officers are aware of duties, assignments, and updatesRespond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in accordance with established proceduresEnsure accurate, timely completion of incident reports, daily activity logs, and required documentationMonitor staff performance and address compliance or performance issues as requiredPerform patrols and site inspections to verify safety, security, and procedural adherenceCommunicate operational issues, compliance concerns, and incident trends to site managementPosition Requirements:
Valid British Columbia Security LicenseValid OFA Level 1 certificateMinimum of two years of security experiencePrior supervisory or leadership experience considered an assetStrong knowledge of security procedures, compliance standards, and reporting requirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional report writingStrong situational awareness and sound decision-making skillsAbility to remain calm and professional during high-pressure or emergency situationsStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsComfortable leading a team and working independentlyReliable, punctual, honest, and dependableProficient in English (verbal and written)Additional Information / Benefits
