Purpose
The Analyst, Account Management is responsible for promoting Sysco/Fresh Point s products and services, building relationships with new accounts, and managing existing customer relationships. This role focuses on helping customers succeed while achieving company sales and profit goals. The Analyst provides day-to-day support to customers, manages order inquiries, ensures MDA (Master Distribution Agreement) compliance, identifies opportunities to increase share of wallet, and utilizes CRM tools for effective account management.
Responsibilities- Sales Growth & Share of Wallet:
Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet with existing customers through face-to-face meetings, market trend analysis, product recommendations, collaboration with specialists/brokers, and value-added service offerings. Provide product information, training, and answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and usage. - Program Execution:
Manage activities initiated by the Fresh Point CMU HOME team, including maintaining customer order guides, managing LTOs (Limited Time Offers), and addressing Red Alerts. - CRM Utilization (Sysco 360):
Utilize Sysco s CRM tool (Sysco 360) for account management, opportunity tracking, task management, and maintaining key customer data (e.g., contact information, prospects, wins, promotions, future business reviews).
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to sell, multitask, and effectively present information.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Bachelor s degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
