Summary of the roleReporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, the
Regional Sales Manager - Foodservice & Retail will be responsible for converting projects into revenue by working with our agent network, consultants, restaurant chains, restaurant groups, equipment dealers, installers, general contractors and end-users.
Responsibilities of the rolePromote walk-in coolers & freezers and insulated metal panel solutions to the assigned market segments;Develop and maintain meaningful customer relationships that will generate revenue for the business.Responsible for developing chain business (Foodservice, C-Stores and Grocery)Key Account ManagementResponsible for developing relations with Foodservice Consultants in relevant areas (FCSI members);Participate and/or organize product knowledge visits to architect/consultant firmsDevelop dealer programs with select dealers in each area;Address specifiers, architects, consultants, designers, engineers, and end users need to generate business and become their go-to resource where our solution is applicable.Experience and education requiredBusiness or College Degree preferred7-10 yrs. experience with a manufacturer of cold storage, refrigerated or food service equipment solutions;A technical background is preferred.Exposure to the foodservice, grocery or convenience store industry;Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in outside sales with a proven track record of success;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Knowledge of walk-in cooler and freezer products is an asset.Proficient in Microsoft Office, web-based applications, CRM, etc.Some overnight travel is required
