About the RoleWe are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our growing outside sales team in British Columbia. This role is ideal for a competitive, self-motivated professional who thrives outside of the office and enjoys building strong client relationships.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business and expanding market share within your assigned territory. While uniform programs are the primary focus, you will also introduce and sell related products and services, including linens and facility solutions, to support customer needs and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and referrals
- Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with decision-makers
- Present customized solutions to prospective clients
- Follow a structured sales process to move opportunities through the pipeline
- Meet or exceed activity targets, appointments, and revenue goals
- Maintain accurate records using CRM and other sales tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
- Strong drive, resilience, and competitive spirit
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Coachable mindset and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building abilities
- Skilled at handling objections and influencing decision-makers
- Comfortable using technology, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Post-secondary diploma or degree
- Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight travel
- Business-to-business outside sales experience with a focus on new account generation
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Established and stable organization with a long-standing presence in Canada
