JLL is seeking a Retail Leasing Summer Intern based in Vancouver, BC to support retail brokerage operations and market research activities. This role is perfect for a post-secondary student eager to gain hands-on experience in retail leasing through market analysis, client support, marketing material creation, and active participation in site visits and market tours with retail clients.
AS A RETAIL LEASING SUMMER INTERN AT JLL YOU WILL:
Gather market information and provide support for the retail brokerage team
Prepare for pitches and create other marketing materials using Adobe software
Participate in weekly team meetings, intern meetings and mentor/mentee meetings
Support proposal process
Learn the daily operations of leasing and selling retail spaces
Participate in site visits to compile tenant information
Participate in market tours with retail clients (tenant representation)
Help create and organize marketing material for tour packages
Understand the retail markets and identify new opportunities for retail clients
Participate in weekly team meetings, internal meetings, and mentor/mentee meetings

WHAT YOU BRING:

Currently enrolled  in post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or other related area of study with a curiosity for how businesses operate
Strong analytical skills combined with attention to detail
Demonstrates proficiency with software packages including but not limited to MS Windows and MS Office: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & Adobe Standard
Clear and effective communicator who can express ideas confidently both in writing and conversation
Natural problem-solver with the initiative to find answers and a drive to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
Tech-savvy approach to business applications with the ability to adapt to new digital tools and platforms
Collaborative team player who brings enthusiasm, fresh perspectives, and a professional attitude to every project
Experience in the commercial real-estate industry is an asset

Estimated Compensation:  $20-24/h

12,960. CAD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
