Role Description

The Specialty Care Territory Manager represents LEO Pharma Inc. within an assigned territory with the goal of maximizing product sales by transferring a strong value proposition for the portfolio to stakeholders. The incumbent will target and promote LEO Pharma therapeutic products to Dermatologists, GPs and other healthcare providers to grow the business and achieve company objectives. The employee understands that the products they are asked to promote and sell may be changed at the discretion of the Company.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build strong and effective relationships with HCPs (including nurses, office staff and pharmacists) within assigned territory.
  • Use a customer relationship management approach to capture valuable insights around needs and expectations of customers and continuously strive to gain market intelligence.
  • Demonstrate a holistic approach in connecting with customers by providing clinical knowledge and the ability to anticipate environmental changes and obstacles, while differentiating product value proposition to all healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
  • Understand market dynamics in the assigned territory to effectively plan and implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Develop an action plan in collaboration with MSL colleagues and other key internal stakeholders, focused on key customers with measurable tactics to gain access and deliver added value to customers.
  • Initiate, develop and implement a customer growth plan to position products in the top of mind for HCPs; continually review and update the plan based on sales report analyses and field intelligence.
  • Proactively identify critical business opportunities and concerns and share input with other functions; develop a call plan that maximizes opportunity to call on targeted customers using a multichannel approach. Achieve designated call expectations for targeted HCPs.
  • Consistently improve disease state, product knowledge, competitor information and consultative selling skills by participating in training activities, POA meetings, and relevant conferences/trade association meetings. Successfully complete all required training classes and programs and implement technical and selling skills.
  • Coordinate distribution of promotional materials within territory in accordance with company policies and procedures and legal/regulatory requirements.
  • Complete all company‑based and job‑related training as assigned by LEO Pharma within the required timeline.
  • Complete administrative duties accurately and within specified time frames, including call reports, expense reports and other required documentation.
  • Recommend, plan, support, host and attend various company functions, including events scheduled before or after regular working hours.
  • Understand and adhere to all applicable Canadian laws, Health Canada regulations and LEO Pharma’s internal code of conduct, SOPs and policies.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; sales/marketing or science related degree preferred.
  • 2‑3 years of professional experience in sales, marketing or a related field.
  • A passion for healthcare and a desire to build a career in sales, supported by a proven, documented record of consistent sales success in complex markets; product launch experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product‑related information; advanced clinically based selling skills.
  • Skilled in strategic sales principles and execution.
  • Market access and pharma economic principles.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork with other functions, such as Marketing, Medical, Patient Support Program, Market Access, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong, enthusiastic presentation and closing skills. Ability to work effectively remotely in a virtual setting.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from various reports; familiarity with sales reporting software preferred.
