Dealer Sales & Process Consultant
Shift Digital is looking for a Dealer Sales & Process Consultant to support automotive OEMs and dealerships. The role involves providing sales consultations that enhance the sales process, focusing on digital retailing, SEO/SEM, website user experience, CRM configuration & reporting, and business model optimization.
Responsibilities- Assist dealership management, BDC directors, internet managers, and marketing managers with sales consultations.
- Provide digital retailing, SEO/SEM, and website UX support.
- Configure and report on CRM solutions.
- Optimize dealership business models.
- Educate dealers and OEM field network on sales and process opportunities.
- Conduct dealer visits supported by OEM.
- Provide field support for regional meetings, presentations, seminars.
- Train staff on reporting tools using adult learning methodologies.
- Analyze dealership sales landscape and consult with senior Regional/Area and dealership personnel on strategy, tactics, roles, and responsibilities.
- Drive consistent adoption and utilization of existing retailer technologies.
- Proven track record of selling cars and understanding the sale process.
- Experience with CRM systems and fundamentals.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to generate recommendations based on discovery and observation.
- Effective motivation and mentoring skills.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and cross‑training on agnostic solutions.
- Ready to travel extensively within the British Columbia market.
- Construct and perform presentations to improve dealer sales process acumen.
- Generate daily consultation recaps with defined action items.
- Serve as sales and process consultant for OEM’s regional staff.
- Create and disseminate support material of defined fundamentals and best practices.
- Provide field support for regional meetings, presentations, seminars.
- Train personnel on reporting tools.
- Analyze current dealership landscape and consult on strategy.
- Drive adoption and utilization of retailer technologies.
The estimated salary range for this role (New York City, Colorado, Nevada, California, Washington) is $95,000 - $105,000. Full‑time position includes competitive compensation, paid holidays, generous PTO, and other benefits.
