Athletic Event Staff - (Flexible Part Time)

Blonyx is a sports nutrition brand on a mission to help as many people as possible achieve their athletic ambition. We do this by providing sports nutrition products that have a perceptible impact on performance coupled with an industry-leading customer experience that supports athletes through education and information.

We are building our event team as we ramp up activations at the end of the summer. If you love sport, especially endurance sports, then this is an ideal opportunity for you to become a part of the community. You ll meet all the athletes, event organizers, store owners, and personalities that make the local athletic community a joy to be a part of.

• Be part of our booth team offering product sampling, educating prospects on our products and brand and closing sales
• Engage with event participants, executing our sales process and closing people in a non-pushy, friendly way.
• Networking with athletes and event participants, identifying potential ambassadors and influencers, recruiting them onto our team
• Work to identify and initiate partnerships with likeminded brands, people, events and organisations

• A love, passion and involvement in sports and sports nutrition is vital
• An outgoing personality with a love for interacting with people and building relationships. If you re afraid to proactively engage with someone walking past the booth, this isn t for you
• The ability to sell, (you should have at least some retail sales experience)
• A natural coach and facilitator
• A self-starter with bags of confidence
• A geek at heart

Salary: 20/h plus 10% commission on all sales generated at events (expect between 5-15/h commission depending on event and your ability to sell)

27.50/h for events where sales aren t permitted.

Travel >25km covered at 0.70/km*. All travel is covered at this rate if you are transporting Blonyx equipment/products or personnel.

This role is flexible, and you don’t have to be at all events. Spring through fall, we have events most weekends and some evenings. You will also be expected to proactively find opportunities to attend events like local running clubs or visit local sports teams.

Ideally, you’ll be a runner, cyclist or triathlete as most of the events on our calendar fall into these categories. We often get free entry for events too, and we encourage you to participate and represent Blonyx where possible.
