Summary
The Retail Support Associate assists the store team with operational duties to increase store productivity and performance. This role handles shipments, stock organization, basic repairs, transfers, deliveries and supports the sales floor as needed. The associate reports to the Store Manager and follows company standards for store readiness and inventory control.
Responsibilities- Monitor flow of shipments and follow up on discrepancies
- Perform box counts and validate against bills of lading, reporting shortages or damages
- Assist with yearend inventory counts and preparation
- Receive merchandise and complete transfer forms
- Ensure stock areas and cash wraps are neat and fully stocked with operational supplies
- Perform basic luggage repairs using small hand tools
- Assist selling floor with product placement, stock recovery and client support
- Perform deliveries and handle projects as requested by management
- Use client tool to connect with clients regarding repairs or propose products
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detail oriented and task focused with strong communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and a positive team player attitude
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 25lbs repeatedly
