Position: Geospatial Forest Windthrow Hazard Modeling (MSc)
A leading research university in Canada is seeking a candidate for a Master's program to engage in applied forest management research. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in LiDAR, remote sensing, and spatial analysis with an interest in forest ecology. The project involves modeling windthrow hazards and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. A stipend of 40K CAD per year for two years is available, along with opportunities for advanced skills development in a prestigious environment.
