Position OverviewWe are seeking a full‑time Property Management Assistant (PMA) with experience managing large commercial properties, tendering repair and maintenance quotations, coordinating vendors and trades, managing tenants, and overseeing capital projects. The PMA will work under the mentorship of a senior property manager.
Responsibilities- Assist a senior property manager with a portfolio of large commercial properties across the Lower Mainland.
- Tender and organize quotes for repairs and maintenance.
- Plan for capital cost repairs and replacements.
- Act as a liaison between tenants, landlords, management and contractors.
- Collaborate with site superintendent, building operators and contractors to schedule and complete service calls.
- Manage Angus Systems by generating working orders and inspections, and updating tenant requests.
- Provide ad‑hoc duties requested by the Tenant Services Coordinator.
- Prepare and send emails, notices, and letters to tenants, landlords and vendors as required.
- Conduct on‑site visits as needed.
- Filter, organize and code property invoices.
- Coordinate keys and access cards for tenants and contractors.
- Update owner and tenant data.
- Internally process move‑in and move‑out inspections for new and exiting tenants.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience managing commercial properties.
- Real Estate Council of B.C. Rental License (optional).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with timely responsiveness.
- Familiarity with commercial triple‑net and gross leases.
- Strong time‑management, organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent project coordination and scheduling experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Experience with Yardi Breeze Systems.
