About the Role
The Technical Quality Assurance Inspector III is responsible for performing inspections of manufacturing goods during and at the completion of the manufacturing process. This role involves conducting visual, detailed dimensional and electrical inspections of individual items, sub-assemblies or final system assemblies. The inspector will interpret complex prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists to approve or reject in-process or final assemblies, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards and certifications.May take part in supporting root cause analysis of non-conformances and support continuous improvement activities.
In this role, you will perform inspections of manufacturing goods during and at the end of the manufacturing process, certify completed products, and conduct detailed dimensional and electrical inspections of individual items, sub-assemblies, or final system assemblies. You will interpret complex prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists to approve or reject in-process or final assemblies while ensuring compliance with quality standards, specifications, and industry certifications.
Additionally, you will document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and communicate inspection findings to relevant stakeholders and management. You will assist in drafting work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), utilize Microsoft Office suite tools for documentation and reporting, and develop and maintain proficiency in industry standards and certifications, including NASA and IPC. Furthermore, you will provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1-2 inspectors and support internal and external audits.
