Come Lead With Us on the Beautiful North Island!
Port McNeill Full Gospel Church is prayerfully seeking a new pastor to walk with us into an exciting new season of ministry. After 14 years of faithful and transformative leadership, Pastor Stan Rukin retired, leaving behind a vibrant, Spirit-filled congregation with a deep love for Jesus, each other, and our community.
If you’re passionate about authentic relationships, Spirit-led worship, and seeing people grow in faith and purpose, we’d love to get to know you.
Why You Might Love It Here:Port McNeill is a warm, welcoming coastal town on the northeast tip of Vancouver Island. Surrounded by forest and ocean, it’s a haven for outdoor lovers—offering hiking, kayaking, whale watching, fishing, and more. With mild weather, essential amenities, and a strong sense of community, it’s an ideal place to enjoy both rest and purpose. We are also blessed to be near several Indigenous communities, and we treasure the relationships we are building with them.
AboutOur Church:
We are a close-knit, family-oriented church rooted in love, grace, and the movement of the Holy Spirit. Our Sunday services (10:30 a.m.–noon) are centered on heartfelt worship and solid teaching. Sermons are live streamed weekly, often reaching 40–80 viewers. We currently have about 30–40 people attending in person.
Our worship team rotates weekly and meets for regular prayer and practice. We also host weekly men’s and women’s groups and a monthly “soaking worship” night. We’re passionate about missions and tithe 10% of our church’s giving to local, national, and international mission efforts.
Our church is in a season of transition, with a desire to see children and youth ministries re-emerge. We are hopeful and expectant for what God has next.
Who We’re Looking For:We’re praying for a pastor who leads with humility, presence, and a heart to journey alongside people. Think of a shepherd who walks with the flock, not just ahead of it. We value strong biblical teaching, a deep prayer life, and a willingness to engage meaningfully with both the church and wider community.
