Reporting to the Director, Strategic Recruitment
, the Digital Recruitment Marketing Specialist leads PHC’s recruitment brand strategy across digital platforms. This role is responsible for designing, executing and optimizing digital recruitment marketing campaigns that attract diverse, niche talent audiences across PHC.
You will bring strategic insight, technical expertise and creative storytelling to a wide range of digital channels, including social media, websites (external and intranet), blogs, e‑newsletters and paid advertising platforms. Using data‑driven decision making, you will continuously improve engagement, reach and conversion while ensuring alignment with PHC’s brand, values and recruitment goals.
This role also manages key vendor partnerships and supports contract negotiations to ensure PHC’s digital recruitment channels remain effective, efficient and aligned with evolving industry trends.
The Digital Recruitment Marketing Specialist will:
Lead and execute PHC’s digital recruitment marketing strategy
, overseeing end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns across social media, websites, blogs, e‑newsletters and paid advertising platforms to attract diverse, niche talent audiences aligned with organizational priorities.Develop, implement and optimize recruitment brand and marketing plans
, using data‑driven insights to improve reach, engagement and conversion while ensuring consistent, values‑based messaging across all internal and external digital channels.Analyze performance metrics, KPIs and engagement data to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify trends and opportunities, and make strategic recommendations that support broader recruitment and organizational objectives.
Create and guide high‑quality digital content
, including writing engaging, conversion‑focused copy for social media and websites, while maintaining awareness of SEO, UX/UI and accessibility best practices to enhance candidate experience.Manage vendor partnerships and digital platforms
, including contracted services (e.g., Linked In, Indeed, Meta platforms), ensuring cost‑effective delivery, adherence to timelines and alignment with industry trends, while supporting contract negotiations and renewals.Provide leadership, oversight and strategic guidance on digital recruitment initiatives, including budget management, quality control and process improvement, while collaborating across departments, participating in committees and contributing to integrated digital communications planning.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive experience in corporate communications, digital marketing or recruitment marketing, preferably within a large, multidisciplinary organization.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Experience in health care and/or the public sector is an asset.
Skills & Abilities
- Advanced expertise in digital communications technologies, social media strategy, advertising and copywriting.
- Strong proficiency with content management systems (Word Press, Microsoft SharePoint) and the MS Office Suite.
- Advanced experience with marketing and analytics tools including Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Mailchimp and similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze marketing data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse partners.
- Strong organizational, project management and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Critical thinker with a high level of initiative, creativity and problem‑solving ability.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- High level of judgment, tact and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
