Fed is a fast-growing food and nutrition startup based in Vancouver. We are looking for a highly organized, solutions-oriented Fulfilment Operations Manager to oversee and improve our logistics and packing operations. This role is critical to ensuring that our meals move efficiently from production to customers’ doors.
The Fulfilment Operations Manager will lead day-to-day logistics and packing operations, manage delivery coordination, and help streamline our fulfilment systems. This role will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to improve processes, implement automation where possible, and support Fed’s expansion into new markets.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building systems, and takes ownership of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Logistics & Delivery Operations
- Manage and oversee all delivery logistics
- Monitor delivery performance and troubleshoot operational issues
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency through automation and process improvements
- Support planning and execution for launching Fed in new markets
- Oversee the packing team and daily fulfilment workflow
- Manage the expo process to ensure orders are packed accurately and efficiently
- Ensure packing operations meet quality, timing, and accuracy standards
- Continuously improve packing workflows and systems to support scale
- Manage and support procurement of non-food inventory, including sourcing and ordering packaging and operational supplies
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure operational teams have the materials required for fulfilment
- Support food assembly activities approximately two days per week to help ensure smooth coordination between kitchen production and fulfilment
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and operations teams to maintain an efficient production-to-delivery flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fulfilment facility
- Oversee daily cleanliness standards across packing, storage, and operational areas
- Identify and coordinate basic facility maintenance and repairs as needed
- Ensure equipment, work spaces, and operational areas are well maintained and functioning properly
- Work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to implement operational improvements
- Identify and implement systems that automate and streamline fulfilment and logistics processes
- Help build scalable systems to support Fed’s continued growth
- Highly organized with strong operational and logistical thinking
- Comfortable managing teams and coordinating multiple moving parts simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
- Experience in logistics, fulfilment, or operations management (food or catering businesses is an asset)
- Experience with routing software, logistics tools, or operational automation is an asset
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys building processes that scale
- Saturday-Wednesday (this is a set schedule)
- $68k-$80k/year
